I ordered this for my 6 year old. I’m happy with the amount of pop to it. It really comes off the bat well when he is able to get a solid connection.
I’m still debating between having him use this bat or a 26” -10 where the fat of the barrel extends down towards the handle. That bat has a slightly better pop, but I feel like he needs the lighter bat until he can get his bat speed up. This has been perfect for him and is at a reasonable price considering how expensive bats can get.

Rawlings makes quality products and this bat is no exception. The name carries more weight than most people think even though it is not flashy like some other brands. I love the feel and weight of the bat but what matters more is that so do my children.
We went with a 10 drop, 29″ which is slightly longer than my kids have been using but wanted to get this sized up slightly for extended use. The bat is a great weight for them and they (8 and 9) are able to swing hard and fast with it. The longer size has helped them keeping their hands in on the swing so they’re generating more power with their hips than their arms finally.
The bat has held up well to a few hundred balls in batting practice and off a pitching machine tossing around 45-50 mph. The bat has pop and making good contact is easy thanks to the barrel size. A decent hit flies off this bat.
The bat feels well constructed and balanced. It’s amongst the best USA bats my kids have used and we are glad to have it in our bat bag for tournaments and league play!
