   Bought this bat for my grandson. Have communicated with Easton regarding warranty since the website on the bat wrapper doesn’t open a warranty page at Easton. Easton does not offer an extended warranty past the normal one year. Does Amazon offer an extended warranty for this bat?

   Bat arrived a week earlier than the estimated arrival date. Perfect, just in time for first practice. My son is a rookie on 8U coach pitch team. He’s the tallest kid on the team and lanky. I got the 28″ drop 13 for him. This bat is a clear upgrade from the dented hand-me-down aluminum 26″ drop 12 that he used for clinics a few weeks ago. I felt the longer bat would fit him better but was very concerned about him struggling to get a heavier bat around…looked hard to find this bat that fits and only stepped up one ounce in weight. First pitch in the backyard this afternoon and he clobbered it into the woods…much further than any ball he’s ever hit…on the first pitch. He was flabbergasted and nearly in tears he comes running up to give me a huge hug and say thanks for the awesome bat. That alone was worth the purchase. He said “Dad! It’s not even me! It’s this bat! I just swing and it’s like a magnet for the ball!” Just like a perfectly fit bat should be. The wide barrel might also make a bigger sweet spot. He went to practice tonight SO confident and did great! Looking forward to a great first season. We didn’t have time to break in the bat properly yet…. I’m not sure he’s strong enough that it’ll make much difference anyway, but it should get hotter as we go along.

   Nice bat, decent pop. The Easton speed comp has more pop however. I’d spend a little extra and buy the speed comp. Also these reviews about broken bars, many of them probably don’t take the time to properly break in the bat, then blame the product.

   So my son is thin and most bats are a bit too heavy for him. Once we got to coach pitch, I noticed he was always hitting late on the pitch. I started researching looking for the lightest bats and this one came up as a good option. Well, it definitely was light. But the thought was, would his already limited power suffer? Nope, my 7 year got his first HR after we bought this bat. It has so much power and pop, even the other parents asked us what we did differently.

   This bat was a huge confidence builder for my son. I recommend it highly. It’s definitely worth it!

   Less than one year with this bat. My son is 10 and used this baseball bat in normal conditions, there was no additional stress placed on the bat. While at bat recently, he swung this bat and the bat broke in half. No one ever saw this happen before. We bought this bat because of good reviews, but I don’t have anything good to say about this bat. And, the fact that we can’t get a hold of the company so they can correct this is only adding to the upset. To sum things up, bat less than one year old and breaks in half. Company doesn’t seem to stand behind product, so I don’t recommend.

   Bought this bat for my 10yr old. We followed the instructions to break in a composite bat. Bat worked well for seven games but cracked between the handle and barrel. Amazon sent a new one over night and we sent in the broken bat. We broke in the second bat and it lasted nine games and broke in the same area the night before our first all star game…. Definitely not a durable bat for a 10yr old and will only last half a season. Very disappointing.
