Purchased for my son in his last year of coach pitch to increase his bat speed. It is light, very attractive, and was well priced. It was a great performer until it cracked. I now read several other reviews here and on other bat sites denoting a high potential for cracking. Addressing issue with Rawlings for warranty but not hopeful we will get a replacement back before the season ends. Now we have to buy another bat.

I would look beyond a composite at this stage and stick with aluminum until my son is a little older and another manufacturer to ensure better quality.

There are far superior bats in the bat universe than this one. It is a bat so I gave it a star for that, but that’s about it. Very little pop to it, sweet spot is small, and it had a cheap light feel to it. It reminds of the cheap china crap. I don’t make any money for saying this, not an affiliate, but the Louisville Slugger Omaha -11 bat is the same price and is far superior – it doesn’t feel cheap, has incredible pop to it, and fairly big sweet spot as much as you can for a USA bat.
