Play this fun game with friends or family, at a party or at home. It’s easy to set up and quick to learn!

You’ll have to think fast for this game! Draw a category card, have another player place it in the card reader, set the timer, and go! Guess as many top ten answers for that category as you can before time runs out!

Whoever has the card reader will slide a check mark over all the correct answers you guess. Take turns, tally up the points, and the player with the most points at the end wins! If you completely blank on one of your turns, don’t worry, because you can earn bonus points!

    I had the original game and loved it so wanted to try this one. I had read mixed reviews – some saying you couldn’t read the cards, some saying you can. So, heres the deal….in our house, anyone over about 40 could NOT read the cards. Not kidding – something to do with the contrast of the colors I guess. But anyone younger than that had no issue AT ALL! I mean they couldn’t even understand what our problem was. So…you need enough youngish people to help play the game so they can read the cards.

    This game it’s lots of fun, and a lot harder than I expected! There are 3 large stacks of cards included, and each has a category on the front and on the back, so you’ll get plenty of great play out of this game! The cards are good quality, my only complaint is that it’s tough to read the red ink on the red view screen. I know that’s just kind of the nature of the beast, but I have played games in the past with a similar mechanism where I didn’t have to squint and hold it close to my face. But that’s not enough to make me downgrade this to a 4-star review, so it really jut comes down to personal preference I guess. It’s a great game that all ages can play together, and if you’ve ever watched Family Feud then you already know 90% of the rules.

    I was hesitant to order this after reading reviews about it being difficult to read but we love this game so I went for it. My kids like the updated questions versus the original game we have had since the 90’s. Know that this version keeps score on paper instead of the slide scale like the original, and there are fewer cards than original too. The cards are easy to read so that was not an issue.

    This is our family’s favorite party game, remarkable for its ability to attract and hold the attention of some children, at times even those who are below the recommended minimum age, and in a game where most of the players are adults. I haven’t played another game in which the participation of children doesn’t detract from the enjoyment of adults. The kids only occasionally contribute to their team’s play, but when they do, they’re keenly satisfied at playing at the level of the adults.

    This most recent update lacks the scoreboard of previous versions and the hourglass timer is too quick for our liking. However the tokens for passes are better, and we just use a timer that’s a little longer.

    It arrived on time. I played this game before and had buy it for a final game night with my stepkids before moving into separate residents. They really enjoyed the game and they learned from it. So it’s not just fun but educational for everyone. I learned a little about Grey’s Anatomy, a show that I don’t watch. They enjoyed it so much that we played to 100 points, which my daughter can won with total of 106 points.

    So happy to finally have an updated version of outburst. I love the new card. The card reader is great but can be a little hard to see at times.

    The words are really hard to read when inside the decoder. We have to hold it under a lamp or use the flashlights on our phones to be able to read with ease. Really low-quality. The game itself is fun
