Once you break it in It POPS. Great bat. My kid loves it. Very fast bat with drop -13. I think people who are cracking them are not taking care of them. It’s a composite bat so you need to read about how to break it in correctly and how to take care of it. It’s also for kids, not adults and major league baseballs. Youth baseballs. For kids age 6-13 A +++++

Great bat! Followed the break in from Easton’s website. My son hit great with it. the weight was good for him, and he loved how the grip felt, didn’t sting him at all.

What you need to know:
– The Drop 13 has a smaller barrel than the Drop 10 of the same weight.
– This bat is full composite, it will require a break in period and gets “hotter” as you hit more balls with it.
– Once broken in don’t use it in practice, don’t hit heavy balls with it, and don’t hit off a machine that is shooting anything other than regular baseballs
– This bat has a distinctive sound when you get jammed, it helped me identify a flaw in my son’s swing and work on correcting it.

Update: 6/21/2024- Working much better than I could have expected, it’s so much easier for my son to square the ball up and hit on the sweet spot. Results have been great.

Purchased the bat new this year on April 6th. It made it through one season of 7U baseball. My son joined the travel team, and the bat broke in half today. It didn’t last 3 months. Before it broke, it did have good performance. However, for $200, get something a little more durable. Especially with the way kids outgrow bats at that age…….

Light as a feather. Helped a young guy having trouble getting around on the ball and turned him into a terror at the plate. The smile on my guy’s face after his first at bat made the $200 price tag easier to swallow.

Still cannot believe the prices on little league baseball bats- but this bats is a great value (when compared to the really, really ridiculously priced options).

That said, we used this bat initially for coach pitch, entry level baseball for a six year old. (26 inch version) Therefore, we cannot speak to its durability. However, nearly the whole team has adopted this as their bat. We were happy enough with the bat to purchase the 28 inch version being reviewed here.

After using the bat a handful of times, the bat has cracked. A high quality bat such as this one, should not have cracked. I have emailed the seller twice through their website portal and they have yet to respond. Issues happen, We get that, but a reply to make this right would be very much appreciated, yet we are met with silence. Do not recommend this seller.
