I placed thin but strong metal ‘plates’ under the clamps to give the clamps a better surface area to grab onto.. works Great! 🤪

The clamps themselves are super sturdy, wide enough to property center the net over the typical gap in a folding table, and rest square on the edge of the table, so you know it’s straight. The clamps make set up so much easier! Now if only I could lock in the net line on one side (I’m thinking it would be easy to use a toothpick or similar to wedge it in the slot), it would be perfect.
