   Took a chance and bought this for the kids Christmas gift. Happy to say it was the best gift of the year. We have young boys and this has held up with their yanking, pulling, ruff throwing. We all enjoy this unit. It is not the sturdiest one I have seen or used, however for the price I believe it is a great find and would suggest it.

   Love playing this game with visitors, everyone is drawn to it when they see it and the gaming panels work very well. The net is already falling apart at the top though which Sux considering we bought it for christmas. We also noticed the nets keeps falling off too, if anyone knows the trick let em know. We tried bending the hooks over but are affraid of breaking them.

   We are great at putting things together. We have put together very complex pieces of furniture and really pride ourselves on being able to follow instructions. These instructions were labeled differently than the actual items that came in the package. The basketball face was completely different than the photo. There were missing parts. This this is massive, flimsy, and just doesn’t work. SAVE YOUR MONEY. I would tell everyone to buy something like this on Facebook marketplace put together by someone already, rather than buying it and wasting hours of live putting it together to find out it’s complete garbage. This is complete garbage. COMPLETE GARBAGE.

   It took a while to set up (2 hours) the directions have no words only pictures 😅 But for the price this is amazing I am 20 my spouce is 23 and we can play rough with this with no problem it’s big so I would say it’s more for adults to play. I’ll write a two week follow up review to see if it’s still sturdy the score board is working and if the nets are still intact since I can see other consumers had a problem with those. But I will say as of right now everything works is extremely sturdy and is lots of fun for us!!!

   We got this for a Christmas for our recreation room due to the reviews I had read online. I must admit, out of the box, before construction, I would have rated this item 2 stars at best, but the customer service from Franklin Sports, and the quality of the item compelled me to 5 stars.

   The issue out of the box was that one of the two rims and one of the two scoring mechanisms were badly bent. We were able to build the item completely, but there was an issue with the game play (accuracy issues). The first morning after we had the unit we also noticed that two of the four included balls were not keeping air. I felt like we had a potentially great basketball game if we didn’t have all the parts issues. I went to Franklin sports website, found their parts order page and email, and sent out an email on 12-26. In less then 12 hours they got back to me with a reply saying all the items requested were on the way! 3 days later the box was at our door.

   After replacing all of the parts, pumping up the new balls, and firing it up, this is got to be one of the best indoor hoops I have ever seen!

   I would highly recommend buying an additional 4 balls. It will make the game-play much better.
   I would also say it would be a good idea to use small black zip ties on the net to keep it falling off the rim. Immediately fixed the issue for us!

   I love the Franklin Sports’ Double Shot Hoops Pro. I just bought it as a gift for my nephew, who turns 4 in January, and it’s now his favorite item in a basement full of games & toys. It’s like he now has his own arcade at home. He practices shooting hoops every day and keeps getting better & better. He calls me on FaceTime so he can show me how well he scores baskets. My sister & brother-in-law said that it was very easy to put together, very well-made, very sturdy, and just like the real arcade game. It comes with 4 Franklin basketballs and an electronic score-keeper. The whole family is enjoying it- from pre-schoolers to adults. Excellent purchase.

   The game itself is hours of fun with the kids. This was pretty easy to put together. It took a couple of hours and is easiest with two people. However, the thing is falling apart very quickly. Some of the hardware it came with was too shoddy to put together. The wing nuts would not thread onto the bolts so a trip to the hardware store was needed. Most of the hardware comes loose on a regular basis so my kids are getting used to checking it. The fabric tore after about one hours use. It tore away from the reinforced edge up near the hoops where the balls impact it after going through the hoop. The nets tore after about three hours use. I called Franklin and they happily sent me a replacement fabric. They did not send me new nets for some reason. So far I have left the torn fabric on. I am going to do so until it is un-useable then replace it. Franklin did not offer any explanation of why mine tore so quickly so I kind of expect the new one to do the same.

   This is a fun game that will help you practice so you can win lots of tickets at the arcade!! However, it isn’t very sturdy and the smallest kid could sit on and bend the frame. Set this up in the same room that you plan on keeping this in. Even though it folds up for transporting, when it is folded up it doesn’t fit through a regular door, neither does it fit through an exterior door which is a little larger. It was a pain to move.

   Assembly was pretty easy, although the directions weren’t 100% clear. It took 2 of us about an hour to put together. It is huge!!! I also recommend getting extra balls. It comes with 4 however when you’re playing with 2 people you are constantly fighting over the balls as it takes a while for the return.
