   These balls have a terrible seem that is raised at least a half millimeter and it affects the flight and bounce . I like the Outdoor balls from Franklin but these Indoor ones are not worth the money .

   ALERT! The balls are NOT the bright teal they seem to be in the pictures on Amazon. They are a bit more dull. However…

   My wife and I were playing indoors, and she was having a lot of trouble seeing yellow/orange balls. We tried these to create some visual contrast to the gymnasium floor. On this front, they work wonderfully. In fact, the facility started buying these as every player found them much easier to see than lighter colored balls.

   From a performance perspective, they’re also great. Not indestructible, and I’ve SEEN a few cracked, but never cracked one myself. They seem adequately durable and play very well.

   Overall, very happy with the balls and they earned the 5 star rating, but don’t be surprised when the color seems a bit off upon arrival.

   This color shows up well on gym floors. Quality is as expected, price is right. 4 stars as I wish it was a little more split resistant as slammers destroy them fairly quickly. I haven’t found a ball that has addressed this issue any better however. For more advanced players, where constant slamming isn’t the norm, they perform well. Will purchase again.

   Good bounce in gym type indoor court floors. Consistent bounce and easy to adapt to its flight and bounce rate.

   If you’d like practice keeping your eye on the ball or want to improve your reflexes by adjusting to unexpected ball movement, these pickleballs are for you.

   I’m a 4.25 player and the groups I play with all use Franklin’s outdoor pickleballs. Assuming Franklin indoor pickleballs would have the same quality construction as the outdoor pickleballs, I ordered a dozen.

   As you’ve no doubt guessed, my assumption was not correct.

   When playing on an indoor gym floor, the balls would skip instead of bounce somewhere around 10% of the time, and have a much shorter than expected bounce about 5% of the time.

   We’ve been playing singles on this particular court for a couple of years, typically once or twice a week for an hour at a time. Tonight we stuck with the new Franklin balls (rotating among 6 of them) for about 20 minutes before switching to another brand of pickleball (which had consistent bounces and did not skip at all).

   Bottom line is that while these pickleballs would be great if our goal was to practice keeping our eyes on the ball, during game play on a gym floor they changes our pickleball games from fun to frustrating.
