12-U Fastpitch softball. Hair in pony braids, fits comfortably. Looks sharp. Seems durable. Doesn’t scratch too easily. In regulation. If there was something a matter with this helmet my daughter would be the first to point it out.. and surprisingly, she hasn’t said one word about this helmet. So, it must be a good’n.

This helmet is the bees knees! It’s so good looking! My daughter has a sensitive head on one side due to brain surgery, and this does not hurt her at all. She has to be very particular in her batting helmets because of that. And I am also particular in which helmet she wears, as protecting her head and brain is my highest priority. She plays Varsity softball, has a pretty average size head. We decided on the L/XL for comfort, and it fits her fine. She could have gone down in size and been fine. So if you have a somewhat normal size head, I would get the size down from the L/XL. The chin strap is wonderful, it helps keep it all in place for better vision of the ball. The chin strap easily clicks on and off for quick access. Extremely happy with this purchase! The matte finish on this helmet is sooo good! It is a very sharp looking helmet. It is all white, and we couldn’t have made a better choice.

This helmet is great quality for the price. It’s super comfortable, and my daughter is able to fit in it well with her glasses. They have different color options, but we went with black. It can also take a softball to the head no problem, very sturdy.

The padding in this helmet is super thick. That makes it really snug. If you wear eyeglasses, the snugness could be a problem for you. The padding will push your ears in and if you’re wearing glasses that can be quite uncomfortable. While my cranium is now ready to take on that 90-mile-per-hour fastball, the helmet is really too tight for me to feel comfortable. Ultimately, that’s distracting for me.

Great helmet, fit our daughter just right. They did not have any of the bigger sizes at our local sports stores that had the attached face guard. Glad we could find one with the same fit online that included the face mask.
