   I had intended to buy this just to see if my kid would even like a 1B mitt, then planned to upgrade to a leather glove. We ended up using this for a season of 12U and it has worked well. My kid likes the glove and it has definitely helped him make some plays. I asked if he wanted to look for a more intermediate level glove but he liked this one. I’m not sure how longevity will be but it’s basically impossible to beat this price. I was pleasantly surprised. I don’t think it would be fair to compare this to a $150 or $200+ glove but it was well worth the investment.

   Didn’t fit very well, ended up returning it. But the hassle free returns are nice. Descent material although not like real leather. My old mitt is heavier dudy but also heavier too. Thanks for reading. Peace

   I bought this for an 8-year-old who is playing t-ball for the first time. It was way too big for him. This was my fault for not checking the size and description of the one I picked, but it worked out well because it fit my hand perfectly. So, I bought him a glove in a size that fit him and I am using this one for myself when we practice together. It’s a great glove for a beginner and is priced appropriately. It isn’t stiff like the leather gloves I remember playing with. You don’t have to break it in. It was comfortable to use right away. I’m happy with my purchase and would buy another if I needed it.

   Very soft and great value. Needs to be broken in a bit to help close the mitt. I even found it difficult to try and catch a ball initially, but I think that’s just how the come. Toss it in the oven like old times!
