    PerfectlyImperfect –

    We got my 9yr old this glove in September. He uses it a few times a week at lessons and here at home since then, so around 3 months. It is still not broken in yet. My son hates it and is asking for another glove. It’s still so stiff and hard for him to squeeze when he catches. I’m not sure I believe that it’s 80% broken in, I agree with another reviewer who said it is more like 20% broken in. Very disappointed.

    Very soft leather and nice webbing. Comes relatively broken in, but we slept on it two nights and it was outstanding. A real nice glove foo12 yr old.

    This is a great looking and feeling glove. The leather feels high quality, with nicely formed and padded finger stalls. Unfortunately, the wrist opening is a little too tight for my 10 yr old son. This glove has Rawlings ContoUR and youth taper fit, which means lowered and narrow finger stalls, and the tighter wrist opening. If the wrist could be opened or adjusted, it would have been a great fit. I would recommend this glove, but try it on before you break it in. Break in may have loosened the wrist opening a little, but I decided to go with something a little more open to ensure my son gets some good use out of it.
